As in the heavens
each and every star
fills appointed space
so you fill that place
where God has need.
Oh, do not doubt...
Your hand held out
to help a friend,
your love to warm

even your smile
to light the dark.

THis makes me think of the prayer of Father Mychal Judge who was killed while doing the work he was called to do on 9/11/01 at the WTC.
"Lord, take me where You want me to go,
let me meet who You want me to meet,
tell me what You want me to say,
