It's a great, good morning and I'm so grateful. The garden is in full bloom and I have the most beautiful space to view it from. How did this happen? It was first an idea in the mind of God, received and acted upon. Inspiration and focus and finally some physical work that was empowered by the Spirit within produced the beautiful results. Will this beauty last forever? Not the physical beauty but as God is ever expanding it will make way for ever greater expansion, new ideas, inspiration and focus.

FInding the Way

Had a great day today. Lots of deep inspiration. The theme for the service was Sacred Abundance and the speaker was Rev. Robin Reiter. How important are facts? Not so much according to the teachings. We must remember "with God nothing is impossible". Ours is not to hack out the path but to pay attention to guidance, constantly, faithfully and then FOLLOW IT. That is the way to sacred abundance.... Holding you all in love and light, Keri

Be present

Whew! Anyone notice time is zipping by? There's always time to be present. But present to what? Present to the awareness ourselves as an expression of the divine. It is our awareness of that that will guide our busiest day along a path of ease, peace and divine expression. So take a deep breath as you brush your teeth, rush out the door, drive to work, answer the phone, eat a meal and whatever else your day presents and be present, it's as easy as becoming aware of your heartbeat.

School's Never Out

As we come to the end of a school year I realized that spiritual growth can be like going to school. We've all heard this before but I think it's a good thing to remind ourselves what that's like. We study and practice and have tests, even final exams. It's not until the class is over that we realize that we have really learned something. We can take a moment to revel in our new understandings but then we must build on what we've learned, applying the previous learning to the next level or we stagnate. Each class takes us to a deeper understanding. That's how life works the best for us. We acquire skills, apply them and see what works. If we are wise we use life experience as our classroom, watching for the opportunity to apply the spiritual principles we've already learned and then stepping into the next experience with anticipation and eagerness knowing we are always fully guided and guarded, knowing there is always more to learn...

It's spring! OK, not quite yet but real soon. I LOVE this time of year. More than even New Years it takes me to thoughts of renewal, starting over, moving ahead. I feel the divine urge of expansion moving through me. "Clean the closets, throw out the stuff, make room, reach out grow, expand." That is our heritage as expressions of a Divine God who loves us and seeks to always express more fully through us. Pay attention, we are always being called to push forth. Like the bud of a flower pushes forth into full blossom, let the glorious light that is God within you push you forth into the full blossom of who you are.
Need some fertilizer? Take some downtime. Listen, watch nature bloom forth. If a plant can do what it does by simply being maybe we can do the same. Be present and listen for the divine urge and THEN take action. God's there, can you feel it?

What do you REALLY believe about God? Most of us know what we're supposed to believe and can mouth the words appropriately and will do that when asked the question. But in the quietest of times, in the hardest of times what do your actions show you that you believe?

I still pray to the guy in the sky when I get desperate. I catch myself and smile and remind myself God is in me as me through me, there is no one to ask for something from. I can only remember that I must KNOW the thing I seek. I must trust in the creative law, I must have faith. So I release doubt and I trust. I can worry but it doesn't change a thing. I release and I let go, as the song goes.

We have to examine our life as a reflection of our beliefs. What is your life showing you? What do you REALLY believe about God?

Whoa! I kind of dropped off the face of the earth. Ever notice how that happens? You look up and all of a sudden it's Monday, again, or July, again. Well, here it is a New Year... again. Another chance to start over if we choose, at least that's how alot of us perceive it. It's good to remember that no matter what the season we can always start over. OK, we can't have a redo on what's past but we always have the choice to do it "right" this time, to make a different choice. We are always supported in our choices to grow and expand as spiritual beings. God has no memory for what happened in the past, only a continual love and support for the NOW, so feel free to jump in at any time and make a positive change in your life.
